I can't believe Liam is already one! He is one of my newest best buds - he kept reaching for me and wanted me to carry him around while we did his session :) Love all these timeless classic images from his session - these will never go out of style!

Rebekah + Daniel :: Engaged!

What a fun afternoon!  I had so much fun shooting Rebekah and Daniel's engagement session in Springfield, TN around Rebekah's Grandparent's farm.  The love between these two is so obvious and I am so excited to photograph their wedding in August!

Jenn + Phill :: Married! {Cavallini Photography, Dover Wedding Photographer}

It isn't often that you get to photograph a Spring Wedding in Tennessee....in February!  Jenn and Phil's wedding day couldn't have been more beautiful!  In true Tennessee style, the weather forecast had changed about three times within 48 hours before the wedding day, and we just weren't sure what the day would bring.  However, when I arrived to begin photographing their wedding in Stewart, TN, we had gorgeous weather.  Temps were in the low 60's and we had a lovely cover of clouds.  The rain held off until after the ceremony, giving us just enough time to get some lovely images of the couple outside with the fog settling in. 

Their wedding day, from beginning to end, was truly special, with all the personalized details, (most made by the talented Jenn herself), to the family and friends that shared all the moments throughout the day - it was just wonderful!

Congratulations Jenn & Phil! Thank you so much for having me be a part of your Wedding Day!

There are times in your life when you feel like everything you possibly can do, still is not enough.  I have had that feeling since my little sister told me that her friend's mom recently found out she had cancer.  I immediately exclaimed "We need to do portraits for them."  It's what I felt I could do for them.  I have had this thought before at other times, for other people, and for one reason or another, including my own health, it did not work.  But this time, it did, and so we scheduled a session right away.  Due to cold weather, we had to do an indoor session, but I feel that these images turned out so well, and I am so happy and honored to provide these images to this precious family.


As Denise comes home from the hospital tonight, and hospice begins to come in, (all this, less than two weeks after this session) I hope and pray that these images can bring her and her precious family some smiles, comfort and a little bit of joy.  I ask all of you reading this to please pray for this family.  Pray for Denise, and pray for her family.


My love to your family, Denise, and prayers continuously.

Havin' fun at The Clarksville Brides Bridal Show

We had so much fun this past Sunday at the ClarksvilleBrides.com Bridal Show and Expo in Clarksville, TN!  It was set up and run really well and we really had a blast!  Thanks to all the brides who visited our booth!  We are excited about our meetings with some of you, and hope to meet with more of you.  We would really love to be your Wedding Photographers!
